Job Description

ACProducts, Inc. (ACPI), is looking for a Field Service Coordinator. ACPI is a leading manufacturer and distributor of kitchen and bath cabinets throughout the United States. ACPI operates out of 11 manufacturing facilities and produces both framed and frameless cabinets and provides design and installation services in all major metropolitan markets in the United States.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE FIELD SERVICE COORDINATOR::
  • Shared responsibility for quality and cost effective installations.
  • Process layouts, prepare orders and give information to Customer Service Representatives, Installers, Sales, and appropriate personnel.
  • Schedule delivery, dispersal, install, and service work as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with building superintendents, installers, and other contractors.
  • Cover, assist, and train in other areas.
  • Support efforts by all members of the ACPI Team to continuously improve departmental, and company performance.
  • Ensure accuracy of installer invoice as compared to budgeted cost.
  • Provide customer service and resolve any problems, as necessary.
  • Additional projects or duties, as assigned.
  • ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS OF THE FIELD SERVICE COORDINATOR:
  • Will work with appropriate sales, field personnel and customer service staff in region.
  • Reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager.
  • EXTERNAL INTERFACE OF THE FIELD SERVICE COORDINATOR:
  • Reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager.
  • Employee will interface with Customers, Outside Contractors, Suppliers, and other Industry groups.
  • QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS OF THE FIELD SERVICE COORDINATOR:
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 3+ years of field experience (i.e., cabinet installation, service, order entry and delivery scheduling, and managing subcontractors).
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships with building superintendents and subcontractors;
  • Computer skills including Microsoft products.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE FIELD SERVICE COORDINATOR:

    This position is mainly SEDENTARY - Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
