What does an ABA Therapist do?

As ABA Therapists, we are responsible for observing and improving certain behaviors in patients. It is our job to use certain behavior analyzing techniques to identify negative and harmful behaviors in patients and work on improving them. We provide guidance to patients on how to improve their behaviors using specialized treatment plans. Our aim is to provide better social and life skills to individuals suffering from behavioral disorders. By implementing ABA programs, we make sure that the patient is successful in altering negative behaviors. It is also our responsibility to maintain and record data of patients and ensure its integrity.

Core tasks:

  • observe negative behaviors in patients by utilizing ABA techniques
  • formulate and implement personalized treatment plans for patients
  • provide assistance to patients in altering behaviors
  • monitor the progress and maintain record of patients
