About Academic Affairs Director

What does an Academic Affairs Director do?

As Academic Affairs Directors, we are responsible for supervising, developing, and evaluating all Department Chairs, Faculty, and Librarian. Also, we have to guide the Educational Managers in hiring and developing faculty and staff members. We improve the faculty and educational staff orientation, training, and development activities to promote a culture of learning. We further develop educational articulation relationships with school districts and other institutions and enhance internship opportunities within the community by maintaining a quality educational presence.

Core tasks:

  • making necessary changes to ensure the fiscal health of the Education Department and achievement of strategic objectives
  • meeting the targets of all Key Drivers of the Strategic Plan
  • managing the scheduling process for maximizing efficiencies while maintaining educational outcomes
  • overseeing the evaluation of all faculty and staff in the Education Department
