Acadian Ambulance Service has evolved to provide emergency and non-emergency transportation to more than 70 counties in Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and Tennessee since its foundation in 1971. Acadian first received accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services in 1995, which is considered the industry's gold standard. Texas operations were examined separately in 2010 and were awarded CAAS accreditation. The medics exceed the qualifications set forth by the National Registry of EMTs, and Acadian Ambulance is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services. Richard Zuschlag and his cofounders answered phones, drove ambulances. They also went to the headquarters, handled the finances, and did whatever else was required to get the business off the ground. They are hiring advance EMT, ambulance driver, paramedic etc.
