In the year 2000, Access Health Louisiana (AHL) was established. It's a collection of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). More than 44,500 patients are seen annually by our network of more than 100 doctors throughout twelve Louisiana parishes: Orleans, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, St. Charles, Jefferson, Washington, Plaquemines, Iberville, St. James, Tangipahoa, Allen, and Rapides. It has been designated as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, based on patient safety and quality criteria. It was also honored by the Health Resources and Services Administration with a Quality Improvement Award in 2019. (HRSA). It offers Dental and Vision insurance, Short-term and long-term disability, Life and AD&D insurance, Paid Time Off and paid holidays, Employee Assistance Program, and 403b Retirement plan with a 4% company match.
