About Account Director

What does an Account Director do?

As account directors, we develop and execute sales growth strategies for our assigned account(s). We are expected to retain existing business while pursuing new profitable opportunities. Acting as the central focal point for the account(s) internally and externally, we manage contracts and negotiations with the client and internal stakeholders. We also aim to cross-sell our organization's products or services to achieve deeper account penetration. We lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals and account managers.

  • resolving key client issues
  • developing understanding of key account needs and translating them to internal teams
  • negotiating contracts
  • establishing and overseeing budgets
