What is the key purpose of an Account Executive? As an Account Executive, based in our new Atlanta office located in Midtown, you will focus on developing new business and advocating the power of our platform to small and medium sized businesses, agencies, publishers , and affiliates to meet our goals and provide marketing solutions to our clients.

What skills and qualifications do I need?

For this role it is essential that you have:
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or sales development
  • Passion for advertising, media and technology
  • Ability to present ideas/concepts to clients, demonstrating value proposition.
  • Experience with Salesforce (or another CRM system) and related productivity tools
It'd be great if you also have:
  • Digital advertising industry experience
What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis? At a fast-moving technology company, no two days will ever be the same. As an Account Executive you will:
  • Generating revenue by developing and scaling a pipeline of successful advertiser accounts - across brand, agency and publisher media-buyers alike
  • You will develop relationships with prospective clients through phone, email, social media, in-person meetings and professional networking events (some travel may be required within the US 2-3 times per year)
  • Act an an internal advocate for clients, to guarantee Taboola is providing an outstanding level of service
  • Learn and promote successful advertising strategies, both creative and technical, across a range of industries and types of businesses
  • Return client/market-driven insights to product and other teams at Taboola
  • Master ability to balance time invested toward low- and high-spend potential accounts

Tasks

  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
  • Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
  • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
  • Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
  • Obtain credit information about prospective customers.
  • Train customers' employees to operate and maintain new equipment.
  • Prepare sales contracts and order forms.
  • Negotiate details of contracts and payments.
  • Forward orders to manufacturers.
  • Negotiate with retail merchants to improve product exposure, such as shelf positioning and advertising.
  • Plan, assemble, and stock product displays in retail stores, or make recommendations to retailers regarding product displays, promotional programs, and advertising.
  • Check stock levels and reorder merchandise as necessary.
  • Arrange and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment.
  • Buy products from manufacturers or brokerage firms and distribute them to wholesale and retail clients.
