Key Responsibilities

  • Provides sales support coverage to the sales team account managers by relieving them of administrative work as a result of low staffing levels

  • Duties may include order processing/entry, price quotations, information input and management, RFP response, product training and other related tasks

  • Interact with clients, problem resolution, and provide information

  • Provide technical assistance to customers and staff

  • Answer inbound calls, and email inquiries from customers

  • Assist in the adherence of all company compliance standards

  • Utilize employee communications to maintain knowledge on updates

  • Work in a team environment with sales representatives and management to meet and exceed assigned goals for overall customer experience and reputation

  • Assist customers with product and service education when necessary

Competencies and skills

  • 2- 4 years in previous Sales role preferred

  • Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently

  • Excellent PC skills required in MS Word, Excel, Explorer and Outlook

  • Outstanding interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and work under time constraints is required

  • Must maintain confidentiality
