What is the key purpose of an Account Manager, Growth Advertisers? As an Account Manager, Growth Advertisers , based in our new Atlanta office located in Midtown, you will work with Taboola's Small and Medium sized clients to drive advertiser success by educating, consulting, onboarding and providing strategic advice. You will use your expert communication skills and passion for digital advertising, enhance your analytical and consultative skills in a fast-paced environment. This role is an outstanding opportunity for a customer-focused and data-driven individual interested in establishing themselves as a digital advertising authority, and driving impact at scale through cross-functional collaboration with Taboola's world class teams.

What skills and qualifications do I need?

For this role, it's essential that you have:
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a client-facing capacity
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate within a high-performing team
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks within a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of online and offline marketing channels
It'd be great if you also have:
  • Hands-on experience and proven success managing +100K budgets across any of the following channels: Google Search, Facebook Ads, Criteo, Youtube, Teads.
  • Client-facing experience in the digital media/online publisher space
What will I be doing on a day to day basis? At a fast-moving technology company, no two days will ever be the same. As an Account Manager, Growth Advertisers you will:
  • Deliver outstanding account management at scale
    • Understand client's marketing objectives and provide data-driven solutions
    • Identify upsell opportunities and provide strategic long term recommendations
  • Be a product expert
  • Own quarterly revenue goals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Work cross-functionally with the Product, Marketing and Support organizations to drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction
  • Display clear understanding of industry challenges and opportunities

Tasks

  • Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase sales of products or services, working with customers, company officials, sales departments, and advertising agencies.
  • Inspect layouts and advertising copy and edit scripts, audio and video tapes, and other promotional material for adherence to specifications.
  • Assist with annual budget development.
  • Confer with department heads or staff to discuss topics such as contracts, selection of advertising media, or product to be advertised.

  • Coordinate activities of departments, such as sales, graphic arts, media, finance, and research.
  • Plan and execute advertising policies and strategies for organizations.
  • Direct, motivate, and monitor the mobilization of a campaign team to advance campaign goals.
  • Gather and organize information to plan advertising campaigns.
  • Create media notices about events.
  • Prepare budgets and submit estimates for program costs as part of campaign plan development.
  • Contact organizations to explain services and facilities offered.
  • Monitor and analyze sales promotion results to determine cost effectiveness of promotion campaigns.
  • Identify and develop contacts for promotional campaigns and industry programs that meet identified buyer targets, such as dealers, distributors, or consumers.
  • Track program budgets, expenses, and campaign response rates to evaluate each campaign based on program objectives and industry norms.
  • Read trade journals and professional literature to stay informed on trends, innovations, and changes that affect media planning.
  • Manage sales team including setting goals, providing incentives, and evaluating employee performance.
  • Prepare and negotiate advertising and sales contracts.
  • Formulate plans to extend business with established accounts and to transact business as agent for advertising accounts.
  • Train and direct workers engaged in developing and producing advertisements.
  • Confer with clients to provide marketing or technical advice.
  • Assemble and communicate with a strong, diverse coalition of organizations or public figures, securing their cooperation, support, and action, to further campaign goals.
  • Provide presentation and product demonstration support during the introduction of new products and services to field staff and customers.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Direct and coordinate product research and development.
  • Consult publications to learn about conventions and social functions and to organize prospect files for promotional purposes.
