About Account Representative

What does an Account Representative do?

As Account Representatives, we find, create and maintain client accounts in a company. We work as the primary point of connection between customers and a company. As Account Representatives, we are tasked with regular communication with the clients. We address the concerns of customers and keep track of their payments, transactions, and expenditures. Usually, we work in a team, but some of us work solely in small organizations. We make daily reports of our activities and report to senior accountants and managers.

Core tasks:

  • stay up to date with present and prospective accounts of the company
  • communicate with customers and address their concerns
  • monitor client communication and respond to their queries promptly
  • create company invoices and record all transactions of the company
  • maintain records and conduct audits for client accounts
