What does an Accounting Technician do?

As Accounting Technicians, we perform a wide range of practical accounting tasks, such as; collation, checking, and analyzing financial information, which is later used by accountants. We work for both public and private sector organizations, where we perform a wide range of financial and accountancy tasks. We are tasked with the responsibilities of making sure that the organization abides by the current taxation legislation. We also monitor an organization's financial transactions and controlling budgets.
