About Accounts Payable

What does an Accounts Payable do?

As Accounts Payables, we are responsible for processing and tracking plant payables on time. We collect, review and transmit payables data according to standard operating procedures. We review payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the firm. We also review and process invoices in automated accounts payable processing system.

Core tasks:

  • verifying codes, invoicing numbers to ensure payments are processed in timely
  • reviewing and matching purchase orders to invoices for accuracy and correct payment submission
  • working closely with the purchasing department to ensure proper matching of invoices to purchase orders
  • adding and maintaining vendor log
  • understanding company policies and regulations
