About Acquisitions Associate

What does an Acquisitions Associate do?

In the role of Acquisitions Associate, we are responsible for sourcing and modeling investment opportunities for ownership. aWe contribute to the Company’s growth in a collaborative environment. Developing and fostering relationships with the brokerage community in targeted markets is a part of our job. We source new investment opportunities based on a given set of criteria. We review and model-specific investment opportunities based on the Company’s underwriting principles. Participating in the due diligence process of the Company’s acquisitions is our duty. We assist the team with all aspects of the business. We oversee underwriting and creating investment and marketing presentations.

Core tasks:

  • underwrite potential acquisitions
  • conduct market research
  • present investment strategy suggestions based on findings
  • assist with the training and development of junior analysts
  • contribute to the property budgeting process
  • assist in the quarterly valuation process
  • assist other team members as necessary
  • co-ordinate external appraisals
  • review results to make recommendations to senior managers
