What does an Admin Assistant do?

As admin assistants, we possess excellent communication, management, and multitasking skills. We are also responsible for running the day-to-day administrative duties and coordinating all the schedules for an organization. Skills such as being professional and managing time well come in handy as an administrative assistant. We are also continually working towards improving the organizational processes and making them more efficient. Our job also requires us to work closely with managers and staff members to be aware of all the plans.

Core tasks:

  • preparing documents for official meetings and business trips
  • answering and directing phone calls
  • scheduling business meetings inside the organization as well as with other companies
  • ordering office supplies and managing their stock
  • redirecting mail and incoming packages to their respective recipients
