About This Role:

Under general supervision, the Administrative Assistant II will provide complex and confidential clerical support and administrative assistance to our Manufacturing Operations department.

Demonstrates behavior consistent with the company's values of Customer Satisfaction, Innovation, Family and Social Responsibility.

Essential Job Functions/Tasks:

1. Develops and maintains a variety of departmental reports. Inputs data and runs reports. May do analysis of historical data. May be required to maintain computer files, use spreadsheet, database, and other computer software to produce requested reports.

2. Types routine correspondence, reports, various forms, tables, pamphlets, from handwritten notes or verbal instructions and makes changes in grammar, punctuation or spelling as needed. Proofreads and edits draft and final materials for appropriate and consistent format.

3. Establishes, maintains, and when necessary revises departmental files.

4. Answers telephones, handles calls, routes to appropriate individual or takes messages. Ensures customers, vendors and employees are handled in a professional and courteous manner. Provides information and assistance whenever possible.

5. Arranges meetings, or conferences, travel, takes meeting minutes, and compiles reports, document control, and orders supplies/materials.

6. Sorts and distributes mail. May be required to open and reply to general inquiries.

7. Tracks departmental activities, schedules and/or itineraries.

Other Job Functions:

Performs other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.

Those employees who do not comply with safe work practices may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.RequirementsEducation/Training Required:

High school diploma or equivalent education and work experience.

Experience Required:

Minimum three years general office experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):

KSA #1: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

KSA #2: Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks.

KSA #3: Proficiency in the use of computers required with a strong knowledge of computerized spreadsheets.

KSA #4: Must be detail-oriented and have excellent analytical and organizational skills.

KSA #5: Requires ability to work under minimal supervision, to self-initiate activities, and to work within time lines.

KSA #6: Must have effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other departments.

KSA #7: Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing organizational needs.
