Job Description:

  • Administratively support and provide coordination efforts for the Engineering Section.
  • Provide administrative support to other sections as required.
  • Schedule, develop and maintain schedules and meeting minutes.
  • Attend staff meetings and record attendance, action items and agendas.
  • Using Maximo and appropriate spreadsheets, track work assignments within the Engineering Section.
  • Maintain electronic and paper files for engineering documents, including real property and project files.
  • Provide work order maintenance using Maximo system and minor maintenance of data using the NexGen Tririga system.
  • Maintenance will be based on input from asset management, program management, environmental and system engineering personnel.
  • Assist system engineers in updating job plans and preventive maintenance records in Maximo.
  • Account for and track equipment assigned to the Engineering Section.
  • Process information within cybersecurity and privacy rules and policies.
  • Must currently possess or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Perform administrative and office support activities to include meeting arrangement and scheduling support.

Work Environment: Standard administrative/office environment. Computers and associated office equipment will be available as required. Working in a field environment also required.

Physical Demands: Physical location and work space may comply with standards established by the USAF facility space requirements and may require working close to others. Sitting for extended periods, ability to climb stairs to access work environment. Use of audio equipment may be used without interference to others. Use of headphones or similar equipment may be used if devices do not impair or restrict effectiveness of fire or other safety alarms or notices.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus two (2) years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience within a facility engineering environment is desirable.
  • Working knowledge and experience with office equipment including computers, printers and scanners is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and Word is desired.
  • Fluent in regarding, writing, speaking and understanding the English language with the ability to effectively communicate precise information & terminology.
  • Ability to maintain and protect sensitive information and Company proprietary information during both written and verbal communications.
  • Must demonstrate courtesy and professional demeanor in execution of all duties.
  • May be required to support disaster (such as hurricanes) recovery efforts.
  • US Citizenship required for obtaining a security clearance.

  • Computers and ElectronicsKnowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
