About Administrative Services Specialist

What does an Administrative Services Specialist do?

As Administrative Services Specialists, we are responsible for providing office support with an emphasis on composition, editing, and production typing, including preparing charts, brochures, flip charts, flyers, and newsletters. We plan, organize and direct a component of a department program. We interpret and advise office staff and the general public on official rules, regulations, and laws governing the assigned program's operation.

Core tasks:

  • providing administrative support for the assigned program of record
  • developing provisioning data for supply support
  • evaluating the efforts of government and creating and performing administrative tasks
  • preparing administrative documents of the department program
  • participating in the drafting of policies
