About Admissions Counselor

What does an Admissions Counselor do?

As Admission Counselors, we are responsible for connecting students to the right institutions and courses. We build contact with students to assess their academic standings. We are also responsible for looking into their extracurricular activities to know about their interests. Guiding students about various programs and majors as per their interests is also our primary responsibility. We also conduct interviews and arrange campus tours. Working as Academic Counselors, we represent our institution at various gatherings and seminars. We arrange informational sessions to introduce our programs to potential students. Finally, we are also responsible for developing an Alumni network to help students know about their field's available opportunities.

Core tasks:

  • assisting students in their course and institution selection
  • staying in contact with students to answer their queries
  • srranging informational sessions and campus tours
  • keeping accurate knowledge of changing educational and industrial trends
