As part of the HSBC Retail Banking & WealthManagement (RBWM) Marketing team, the Digital Acquisitions team is focused onusing digital channels to drive efficient customer applications and salesacross a group of products for the retail bank – primarily credit cards,personal loans, checking and savings accounts. The team manages campaignsacross display, paid search, paid social, aggreators and partnerships andaffiliate channels. The team works in close partnership with the broaderMarketing Campaigns teams as well as the Digital as a Channel team (DaaC) wholead on website optimisation, the Analytics team, Journey Optimisation,Customer Value Management team, Product teams, Risk and Analytics.
This role is focused specifically on drivingacquisitions through partnerships built within the affiliate and aggregators channel.In the role, you would be responsible for collaborating with ouraffiliate/aggregator vendors, partneragency/agencies, as well as managing some activity in-house in order to get thebest return for our affiliate/aggregator investment.
The ideal candidate would be highly numerate and agood communicator who is passionate about affiliate and aggregator marketingwith an interest in the wider digital marketing landscape. Experience workingin the financial sector with strong familiarity of financialaffiliate/aggregator marketing marketplace considered as highly beneficial.
PrincipalAccountabilities:
Managethe development of appropriate, timely and measurable Affiliate/Aggregator initiatives for key strategic objectives of the business unit including programs to acquire new customers. Responsible for developing and growing ongoing strategy and operating plans for assigned areas
Support execution of strategies to maximize profitability forAffiliate/Aggregator marketing channel. Collaborate with management to implement marketing strategy, including creation of campaigns, and forecasting portfolio growth.Monitor competitive position and overall industry trends in the Affiliate/Aggregator space through ongoing market research, industry studies, data warehouse analysis and feedback from other business units and line managers.
Develop and manage budgets, while ensuring cost control of Affiliate & Aggregator marketing programs.
Delivering the budgeted new accounts within the agreed marketing spend and delivering the minimum required investment returns of the new accounts
Lead operations to enable affiliates and aggregators to delivery to their full potential and expectation. This will involve bringing stakeholders together to support the operations (e.g. Legal, Operations, Risk)
Lead and manage dedicated Affilaite Marketing Agency team to build, deliver, and executed planned marketing strategies
Create and propose new promotions and customer incentives to distribute to the affiliate networks via newsletters and other affiliate communications
Develop relationships with core partners, and manage day to day management interactions to ensure partners receive the support that they need in order to perform marketing of products
Manage affiliate billing processes including invoicing and payments
Deliver accurate and timely updates of performance along with robust forecasts to enable a future expectation.

Work with other channel and marketing managers and the wider team to help create a holistic approach to marketing planning and buying
Supporting wider channels as necessary in conjunction with other channel managers

To implement the Group compliance policy locally by containing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Global Business Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources and training, fostering a compliance culture and optimizing relations with regulators.

Qualifications
Minimumof five years proven and progressive marketing experience, including experience of working with Aggregators and Affiliate networks
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, related field, or equivalent experience
Strong planning, analytical, communications, decision-making, influencing, interpersonal and project management skills
Demonstrated understanding of customer segmentation and management techniques. Confirmed knowledge of the business, products and services supported as well as the external environment affecting them
Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate across various business lines, units and at senior levels within the organization
Campaign management experience
