The Air National Guard (ANG) is a federal military reserve force of the United States Air Force with its headquarters based in The Pentagon,Arlington County,Virginia.Its operating forces are structured where each of the U.S. states,the commonwealth of Puerto Rico,the territories of Guam and the U.S.Virgin Islands,and the District of Columbia of the United States,houses at least one wing.It was established under Title 10 and Title 32 of the U.S.Code and is a part of the state National Guard and is divided up into units stationed in each of the 50 states. ANG brings people from diverse backgrounds together to defend freedom and protect communities both locally and globally.It is a tight -knit community who have unique experiences and perspectives in its Air Guard units and the supreme military community. ANG is dedicated to cultivating diversity and celebrating the things that make it unique as individuals,as well as the shared values which bring them together.
