Airport Manager

As airport managers, we oversee all aspects of airport operations. We are primarily responsible for safety, regulations, and budget planning. Depending on the size of the airport, our job is more or less hands-on with areas such as finance, security, maintenance, etc.

Core tasks:

• monitoring operational and financial performance of airport departments against plan
• initiating corrective actions to improve results
• ensuring compliance with safety requirements
• maintaining a positive work environment, strong employee relations, and collaborative relationships
• soliciting customer feedback to understand customer needs and opportunities to improve
• providing coaching and direction to team to achieve operational goals
• managing budget, staffing forecasts and resource requirements
• ensuring compliance with internal audit standards
• maintaining relationships with OAL, airport authorities, vendors, governmental authorities, internal divisions
• managing vendor service contracts
