Albion College is recognized nationally as a leading Christian College. The college is located at Porter St., Albion, Michigan, the U.S. Albion College was founded with charter in 1835 to orientate the region's male settlers and Native Americans. The Albion Female Collegiate Institute, began in 1850 but merged with the men's college to form the Wesleyan Seminary and Female College at Albion in 1857.
