The history of Albizu University dates back to 1966, when the Instituto Psicológico de Puerto Rico (Puerto Rico Institute of Psychology) was established with the unique objective of offering a master's degree in clinical psychology. The need to view psychological evaluation and intervention from the viewpoint of the community it represents was acknowledged by Carlos Albizu-Miranda. The vision is to be a world pioneer in academic innovation, science, and community service, encouraging diversity to create a social effect that is transformative. Albizu University educates practitioners of behavioral sciences, speech pathology, and other areas who are dedicated to research, quality of life enhancement, and service to diverse societies. Albizu University offers various opportunities for qualified individuals.
