Albright College’s history can be traced back to 1856 the establishment year of Union Seminary. The Albright of today was established by the emergence of multiple institutes two of which are the Evangelical Association and the United Evangelical Church of the 19th century. The liberal arts of the college were originated from three-year collegiate institutes including Union and Schuylkill Seminaries which cannot be called theological seminaries. They are Berk county’s oldest institute which strengthened the generations of the region. They helped their students in transforming their talents, interests, and creativity.
