Great place for "yes-men".
2.0
Talent Recruiter - Las Vegas, NV - January 28, 2022
I spent 18 months at Allegiant, and while the flight benefits and my direct coworkers were amazing, that's about as far as the positives go. One of Allegiant's values is innovation, but I quickly learned that what Allegiant was really looking for "yes men". New, innovative ideas were often challenged, and it got to the point where I stopped trying. It led to disengagement with my role. As recruiters, we tried to advise teams on best practices, but many felt that they knew better than we did, which led to many leaders building homogeneous teams of folks who were just like them. Diversity was never at the forefront. It was also very difficult to get recognition for a job well done, however leaders were quick to point out when anything was amiss. This also led to disengagement. I watched leadership push people out of roles who challenged their opinions. If you just want a place where you can go heads down and follow orders, this is the place for you. Otherwise...don't bother.
