I loved working there in the delivery department. Everyone was full of energy and had a lot of jokes. Although it was a seasonal job, I wish that position was permanent. I have been going on the site to see if there is a position available seeing that I feel Amazon is a good company to work for.

I worked at Amazon from 09/2023 - 01/2024. The pay was good but there was little support for growth within the company. I would like to try it again and hopefully advance further than what I was hired for.

The steel toe shoes made it difficult to walk. Couldn't work fast as they wanted us too. What else am i supposed to say

1 walk in 2 scan badge 3 walk through 4 clock in 5 get equipment 6 use equipment to find packages 7 go to packages 8 move packages 9 repeat 6-8 for a few hours 10 lunch break 11 repeat step 9 for a few hours 12 clock out

Amazon knows how to treat the employees. They often catered food for our shift. Played games and did different things to make it fun. We would come in on our shift sometimes and they would be playing loud music while passing out, t-shirts, caps, drinking bottles and many other items. Christmas we had raffle tickets for gifts and I mean big, major gifts. They gave use gift certificates for new shows. They appreciate the employees. They build you up. Over-all Amazon is a great company to work for.

Working 7pm to 7am was brutal. Being a process assistant was difficult. We couldnt move fast enough.

People were nice and helpful. I fell and got hurt so no longer working there. Upper management doesn't care about you. They just want you to meet the quota

I like working there until they let me go as soon as I hit my 3 months mark and I was a very good worker but they kept people that didn't work and played around instead of keeping ppl that worked

Since moving to NC to support my Father about 2 years ago, I’ve worked at 4 different warehouse locations. They all lack in quality personal leadership. Everything in this company is “app” based. There’s no human interaction. Literally EVERYTHING is done via the Amazon app. It’s ridiculous. You will not be able to get a person on the phone. It’s actually sad. I don’t even use the Amazon site anymore. It’s that bad.

When I first started with Amazon it was a good place to work. After COVID, it became a numbers game. Customer service was no longer a priority. They did not give raises too often. The job got stressful and it was time to leave. I did not stay long enough to get my 5-year bonus which is $1000 but it's taxed, I did get my stock option, which was direct deposited in my checking account which happens if you work there for 2 years. They will send you all equipment and you get training other than that the company no longer worked for me. They like to promote within.

I got in Amazon during a hiring process it was a good job but I was just always behind not because I slow but I was carefully inspecting the products didn’t change my pace I when they wanted me to move quickly I just wanted to do the job right so eventually I had to leave.

Had fun working and meeting people and making money at the same time learned to work on a conveyor belt

6 months on the floor, at a distribution center, pushing packages around. 1 year as a Driver/Station Liaison (DSL). 1 1/2 years as a Customer Service Representative (remote during Covid) Great Benefits Not so great Salary

Great pay, horrible culture if you work in the Delivery Station. Too succeed, you must be willing to work long days and invest time while you are off. They have 12 values that contradict themselves and you are a number, not a person.

I worked for amazon for 7 years almost in total. And worked my butt off to make my first promotion and let me tell you did they use and abuse me after they found out i was a good clerk they kept me as the inbound clerk for years, wven when i wanted to be moved to different departments or positions to learn more and move up faster yet they kept holding me back, alot of great people to meet and make friends but the moving up portion is quite tough if you dont have schooling backing you

I worked at Amazon 8 years and weigh 280 lbs but somehow tested positive for meth asked for a retest was told sure but you can't take a new one we will retest the same sample now regardless I've been a good employee this seems like bull hockey to me

Love to work in Amazon the manager and people are friendly always helping those who can't make it to work better.always manager keeping a eye on work performance to make your way up.if you want to put your self to the test go for it.you will love it if you love to work

It’s extremely hot in the work area and you only have one little fan the size of your hand to keep you cool. Hint hint, it’s NOT keeping you cool. Then when it’s time for your break you can’t even enjoy your entire break time because it takes about 5 minutes to walk all the way to the break room. It’s just inconvenient and messed up.

Overall Amazon is a good company to work for, if you want a productive, work life balanced type setting, amzons the perfect job for you

It is not technical. Scanning and stowing classified materials to robo racks, Targets achieved almost all days, safety measures are followed

I worked off 51ave and Mohave in South Phoenix. You are basically treated as a number. Productivity is a must. You have to hit your numbers, or you're out. Time off task is a issue. 30 minutes of none activity will get you walked out. Bathroom runs and things to that nature has to be tactical. They will force you to work on the dock in those HOT trailers. Even though that's not your job description. Once you walk in the building you turn up. Better be in turbo mode. 😂

I didn't know anything about Amazon when I started. I really enjoyed working for Merch on Demand, printing t-shirts. When our location closed, I worked processing Kindle returns. I learned about all the Kindle products and how they are processed for customers. There are many opportunities for advancement, or you can choose career development assistance. Given the chance, I'd love to work Merch on Demand again.

I was harassed over the years I was working. I put in ethical complaints and nothing was done about it. Now I am depressed.

I love to write and it is nice to be a self publisher in kindle Amazon at least if not for sell for make it known to the king of Thailand and to the holy pope .

Pick the stuffs and save with pallet jack manuel and work hard and positivite for be the best for a week

Amazon is anti employee. They want only the best and hence its a toxic environment. It used to be a great place to work but in the last few years it’s all about cost cutting, lay offs and stressing out employees

Great job and opportunity! I worked their a total of 5 years!!! Alsoi ended up getting compounded with illnesses vertigo,migraines, dehydration and gallstones...ugh but it was a miscommunication and I was in the negative and had the documentation and FMLA also but they weren't trying to correct a honest mistake

I really liked working there to be honest benefits were very good, I really wanted to get promoted and move very limited and my transfer from when I moved states wasn’t handled the greatest either

Don't even apply for this job unless you want to be treated like a robot. Hours are long and managers don't care about you. All Amazon cares about is the customer.

Amazon is a great place to advance your career in any field that appeals to your needs and passions. I enjoyed the experience but after two years I was ready for a slower pace due to health conditions. Great people, even better friends

They find ways to fire people in the job you have been doing since hired no mistakes.in ways you can't fight it and win.you will never win an appeal at amazon.seen on 27 news Amazon fires 300 people every week nation wide.when you start it takes 90 days to get insurance they right you up 2 days before your 90 is up then you can't get insurance.stay away from Amazon.

Amazon is a good and fun job especially for the one who’s a student, if you a student you have pick a schedule that going to fit you, Amazon have an app that you can check your schedule, take time off if needed and check when your check is coming, basically Amazon is good decent job that anyone can work

I was hired as lead and worked like warehouse worker. Nothing is organized and the culture here is very plantation-esq. They constantly move people around. They overfill departments that don’t need help and managers at the department that needs help don’t want the help so some people are just floating around the warehouse and they pick and choose who they think it is because the warehouse is SO HUGE. I was sent home for someone else’s doing before and I have children and bills just like everyone else!!! As well I tested for a higher position in robotics as my credentials qualify and I passed with flying colors. I never got the position but was told MULTIPLE times I did and I just needed to confirm on a wed site. This whole company is a SCAM!

Great job filled with few big benefits and many small benefits. I loved the time off they give you to spend, personal , non paid and vacation if you're smart it lasts you all year long . A lot of diversity and options to grow. I learned a lot of computer skills.

Just like pretty much any entry level position with amazon, you will be used up and spit out. I had hit pay cap and they have a tendency to start putting you on PIPs and really digging into your metrics to find a way to get you on report and out the door so they can swap in for someone cheaper.

The managers make sure you have the required training u need for each specific task u are called to do. They are also friendly as much as other fellow associates you would meet there.

The company itself is a great place to work. However, depending on the individuals in your org you may have a different story. Short version I signed a 4yr new hire agreement and was terminated because of hear say. I was told by my skip level to move offices to a different Corp building which was a WeWork location and the reason given was clocking in without being onsite. I never got a chance to respond and explain that you don't have to scan your badge for entry on leased building but they would not even listen to understand. Overall, I was f*&ked over.

Pay waa good $21.50 evwrything else sucked. Its a job with little groth. They will use and abuse you with out careing.

I was fired from Amazon after working for the for one year, for not stowing fast enough, it might be my own personal paranoia but I started to worry about bob, as I open boxes.

I worked for Amazon BWI5 for three years with no current write ups or issues up until the middle of December when I encountered an altercation with hispancie female who I used to be friends with put her hands on me and amost slapped me. So on or about December 31 Amazon decided to termiant my employment was unjust and unfair.
