I worked at a delivery warehouse. It was a 3rd shift and 10 hours 4 days a week. The job was mentally easy but could be physical by the end of a 10 hour shift. The pay was good and the benefits were really good. Nothing was great nothing was horrible about working in the warehouse I worked in. Over night shifts are not for most people but the work I did at Amazon was not difficult.

The community of Amazon coworkers is the best relationship. Managers they need assistance in being engaged with their employees. Overall it's a great place to work.

The company is great on providing many groups that you can join and relate to. At the end of the day, it is a numbers game and you are viewed as a number.

Amazon provides a very strict and effective safety environment. Violations of safety procedures are consistently treated throughout the organization. There are no preferential treatments.

I took on a seasonal position and let's just say by the end of my assignment I was most definitely wishing I were a permanent employee. Great experience and an awesome opportunity to work alongside great co-workers and supervisors.

I found I did like manual labor. Everyone was very nice. I went over and above and every single supervisor there noticed it. But the nurse objected to me (I made the mistake of questioning her and being right), so her 2¢ got me fired.

The company has help me with work loading boxes on pallets, unload boxes and packages to be decanted and received, stow and pick packages, pack up packages for shipment and learn to use a forklift

When I started out working for this company, I started as a temporary through an outside company. I was converted from the temporary to permanent. Just be aware that you will be required to work from 10 hours to 12 hours (during peak season.)

2 working attempts went to the amazon that payed 75 cents more in Austin in instead i let them know and then she throw a fit. And she said she had pull and ill never work for amazon austin or buda ever again. And they switched driving trainers on me and the driving trainer was driving MORE THEN CRAZY she was diving dangerously. The driver wanted to prove a point putting a medium box on the shelf on the other side of the sliding door is something like safe to drive dangerously. If that box was not there the delivery van would have fallen over in to a inclined road going up to the street drivin on. And after me/I passed all the tests Acing them. The crazy driver said if I want to have the job I will have to drive 15 miles per hour in there/on there parking lot. I got 🔥.

Productive at least I have tried, took some time in the beginning except commuting to work locations. I really enjoyed the work itself, got bored once in a while here and there, get accustomed as time goes on. All the people I worked with are friendly, and supportive every place I have been assigned.

The work life balance is great but the pay isn’t enough for the delivery routes that are high miles with various obstacles.

I love Amazon so much if you get in stay in the benefits are great. There’s always room for growth. You’re free to be yourself. Everyone at Amazon has treated me with nothing but kindness and for that I am thankful.

I like working in more corporate environments, a lot more direct in the do’s and dont’s in the workplace. There was no grey area really at Amazon, you’re told what’s expected of you, and are given plenty of resources if any problem arises.

If you don’t like to run, then this job is not for you. Take your lunch with you and be prepared to NOT use the restroom, if your route is rural.

I worked there for months on end and finally they came to me, to be a supervisor. I was able to teach and guide all the new hires.

Very fast pace position you will loose 40 lbs easily, lots of walking every break you are rerouted to a different department

Worked the over night shift, while I was in college it was very much fast paced, you were timed to pick the items that came across your scanner once you catch the hang of it it’s not to hard.

I met some amazing people who trained me very well. I had some great supervisors who stood up for me when it really matters.

I loved working there in the delivery department. Everyone was full of energy and had a lot of jokes. Although it was a seasonal job, I wish that position was permanent. I have been going on the site to see if there is a position available seeing that I feel Amazon is a good company to work for.

I worked at Amazon from 09/2023 - 01/2024. The pay was good but there was little support for growth within the company. I would like to try it again and hopefully advance further than what I was hired for.

The steel toe shoes made it difficult to walk. Couldn't work fast as they wanted us too. What else am i supposed to say

1 walk in 2 scan badge 3 walk through 4 clock in 5 get equipment 6 use equipment to find packages 7 go to packages 8 move packages 9 repeat 6-8 for a few hours 10 lunch break 11 repeat step 9 for a few hours 12 clock out

Amazon knows how to treat the employees. They often catered food for our shift. Played games and did different things to make it fun. We would come in on our shift sometimes and they would be playing loud music while passing out, t-shirts, caps, drinking bottles and many other items. Christmas we had raffle tickets for gifts and I mean big, major gifts. They gave use gift certificates for new shows. They appreciate the employees. They build you up. Over-all Amazon is a great company to work for.

Working 7pm to 7am was brutal. Being a process assistant was difficult. We couldnt move fast enough.

People were nice and helpful. I fell and got hurt so no longer working there. Upper management doesn't care about you. They just want you to meet the quota

I like working there until they let me go as soon as I hit my 3 months mark and I was a very good worker but they kept people that didn't work and played around instead of keeping ppl that worked

Since moving to NC to support my Father about 2 years ago, I’ve worked at 4 different warehouse locations. They all lack in quality personal leadership. Everything in this company is “app” based. There’s no human interaction. Literally EVERYTHING is done via the Amazon app. It’s ridiculous. You will not be able to get a person on the phone. It’s actually sad. I don’t even use the Amazon site anymore. It’s that bad.

When I first started with Amazon it was a good place to work. After COVID, it became a numbers game. Customer service was no longer a priority. They did not give raises too often. The job got stressful and it was time to leave. I did not stay long enough to get my 5-year bonus which is $1000 but it's taxed, I did get my stock option, which was direct deposited in my checking account which happens if you work there for 2 years. They will send you all equipment and you get training other than that the company no longer worked for me. They like to promote within.

I got in Amazon during a hiring process it was a good job but I was just always behind not because I slow but I was carefully inspecting the products didn’t change my pace I when they wanted me to move quickly I just wanted to do the job right so eventually I had to leave.

Had fun working and meeting people and making money at the same time learned to work on a conveyor belt

Great pay, horrible culture if you work in the Delivery Station. Too succeed, you must be willing to work long days and invest time while you are off. They have 12 values that contradict themselves and you are a number, not a person.

I worked for amazon for 7 years almost in total. And worked my butt off to make my first promotion and let me tell you did they use and abuse me after they found out i was a good clerk they kept me as the inbound clerk for years, wven when i wanted to be moved to different departments or positions to learn more and move up faster yet they kept holding me back, alot of great people to meet and make friends but the moving up portion is quite tough if you dont have schooling backing you

I worked at Amazon 8 years and weigh 280 lbs but somehow tested positive for meth asked for a retest was told sure but you can't take a new one we will retest the same sample now regardless I've been a good employee this seems like bull hockey to me

Love to work in Amazon the manager and people are friendly always helping those who can't make it to work better.always manager keeping a eye on work performance to make your way up.if you want to put your self to the test go for it.you will love it if you love to work

It’s extremely hot in the work area and you only have one little fan the size of your hand to keep you cool. Hint hint, it’s NOT keeping you cool. Then when it’s time for your break you can’t even enjoy your entire break time because it takes about 5 minutes to walk all the way to the break room. It’s just inconvenient and messed up.

Overall Amazon is a good company to work for, if you want a productive, work life balanced type setting, amzons the perfect job for you
