Amazon reels you in with great benefits, and then you'll never see your family. And if your injured be prepared to spend a year of your life trying to get healed and then let go because there refuse to accommodate your injury and you are fired. Don't work here.
Pros and Cons
Absolutely nothing

Itâs no growth the Amazon management donât care about the workers we just a number to them they use us and then let you go and find rhe next candidate and do the same thing all over again the worst experience of my life thatâs why they always looking for people to hire they never keep the harts working people as soon as they use is they let everybody go and hire people that donât know how they operate and continue with the same system
Pros and Cons
No lunch or youâll be late delivering packages
Being on the road and seeing different type of beautiful people in there everyday living

Design maturity very low. Engineering unapologetically omits design from planning and prescribes design activities and outputs. User research proposals repeatedly shot down. Success defined by coding before defining the problem and appeasing stakeholder options.
Pros and Cons
Generous salary.
Immature design culture

Great company. Prepare to work hard.
Depending on schedule it's hard on work/life balance. Not real easy to switch department or shifts. Good money.

Great money, solid company foothold
Work / Life balance schedule. Ridiculous strict on clock-in / clock-out lienicy

Theyâre going to make you work for this money. Youâre gonna be wearing uncomfortable shoes and your body is going to be aching and hurting. I put three out of five star for work and life balance because youâre so tired you donât get to do anything on your day off. This job is extremely boring and you can really get stuck doing this. Donât do it only if itâs a temporary situation, which in this case it was for me. I work here for about two years. The people are awesome but the rules are very serious. If you donât get back to your shift on time (which is calculated by the minute) then youâre in trouble. Too much for not enough pay. My body hasnât been the same since working here for two years. Donât even think about Workerâs Comp., they pay off the medical place (concentra). I was seriously injured, my back had a sprain and they did nothing. Itâs all really a hassle and so not worth it. Unless youâre desperate, do it for a while but donât stay.
Pros and Cons
Support staff, benefits, stability
Not enough positive feedback, physically demanding (seriously), break times

The scheduling is done through an app on your phone. Some days they post enough hours to take a shift. others (like last night) they post no shifts at all. Think of gaining shifts as a race. If your phone is slow or you are in a place with no WIFI you wont get anything.
Then when you get there about two times a month the manager in charge is looking at you like I have nothing for you to work on.
This has only gotten worse since the upper pencil pushers changed the 'free shipping' on food from $35 to $150. Workflow has been cut in half since April.
Pros and Cons
some of the management is reasonable
most of the management is unreasonable

Program Manager
Seattle, WA - July 27, 2023
This started out as an okay gig. The senior program manager installed all of his friends as managers. This set up an environment of cronyism and it began hard to operate as his friends bypassed chain of command. This was said to be my fault but this was the environment they set up. Passive aggressive is a way of life here. Racism was evident , my favorite was being referred to as a munchie bee in front of the VP of global real estate, being introduced to others as someone âwho is let out of his cage every now and then.â The other managers actually referred to female managers as being b**tches that need to be put in their places. Couple this with the unlawful laws I observed being broken. It was a havoc driven system and if you can keep your mouth shut nod say yes, especially if you are brown youll be good. If not stay away!!
Pros and Cons
They try to be inclusive but itâs an illusion, and will use you as a token
All of the above
