Amazon has to be my favorite place to be able to have the opportunity to work for. The team dynamic was awesome. The goal orientation was motivating for me, the praise for hard work was appreciated. The willingness to help all employees to strive to move up is really nice. The endless opportunities within the organization are great. I would love to be able to go back. Plus the benefits are great. And they really care about you and your family life. Race, religion, gender are never a issue. Equal opportunity is one of the top things they strive for and put first.

Pros and Cons
Everything they offer. Team dynamics, rewards for hard work, holiday lunches, benefits
If your late parking isnt great

I started my amazon journey in 2016. I started working in the warehouse as a packer in pack singles. And in 2021 I got promoted to a staffing administrator in workforce staffing. I love meeting new people and I always gave the candidates the best customer service because I was the face of amazon that they would meet. Every candidate that has met me always remembers me and when they see me I’m always greeted with “hey Kayla”.

Pros and Cons
Their benefits are top notch!
In order to move up you have to show initiative

During my time as a Data Entry Specialist at Amazon, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that involved entering and managing large volumes of data. One memorable experience was when I was tasked with streamlining the data entry process for a new product line. With careful planning and effective organization, I was able to significantly reduce errors and improve efficiency, ultimately contributing to the success of the project. This experience showcased my skills in data management and reinforced my passion for accuracy and attention to detail.

Intense workload and pressure, Work-life balance challenges and Limited autonomy and bureaucracy.

Job itself was good. I loved learning new machines but the atmosphere was harsh. Co workers are rude. Management was even worse. All the management cared about was rates and pinning employees against each other. To many promationing gay and transgender. Bashing Christians.

This place will work you like a slave for the pay that they're paying you. You will eat less and be tired all the time while working there. The bathroom breaks are a joke because they would time you and if the bathroom is far away from your work area, your screwed. The lunch break is a joke as well, you really have no time to eat and relax your mind because by the time you do get to rest you have to get back on the floor. Your timed for that as well.

Pros and Cons
The people work there are fun to work with
Your work like a slave and the pay isn't worth it at all.

The company values growth over everything. That means there is 0 empathy, no work life balance, low pay, and unstable work spaces. People are in positions they shouldn’t be and there are few processes.

Pros and Cons
Autonomy and the ability to switch from team to team
Low salary, hostile work environments, your success comes down to your manager not your efforts

I was very good at my job. I usually gave 100 percent. If I was picking and they said today we need you to pick 85 units per hour, I'd pick in excess of 125. Out of 400 associates I was constantly within in the top 10 as far as my production which created positive documentation. I always surpassed what the expectations were. They trained me to do what they called PA and run the shift. I did this for three months with great success. I wasn't being paid a PA's wages though. They changed up management and hired another associate and kicked me to the curb. Not because I didn't do the job well but because the new manager wanted to hire women. The woman they hired wasn't qualified, I was, and within a short period the new pa quit. So I ended up going back to doing what I do best. I don't like being lied to and I really didn't like the shananigans. They change management sometimes 3 or 4 times in the same month, completely disorganized. This is the short of my experience with this company.

Pros and Cons
The pay is decent, the work wasn't hard.
The higher ups lie to their associates.

Some people were cool and interesting to talk to. Randy was one of their best leaders to go to for help and info. Stowing was fun but the computer rating system had to many flaws that need to be updated and graded. Plus the don't push the red out of work button so you get a slow rate doesn't help when the instructions on the video says to ( company vs job site). Then being called a lier by an immature leader Charles being 40+ is bad for company moral. Why work and get disrespectful management calling you names is very unprofessional. I'm glad to be gone from this stressful disrespectful environment that's bad for ones health

Pros and Cons
special holiday meals
young management belittling those 40+ as incompetent liers

I was chastised consistently on route whether I’d make it off early along with other drivers who were skipping lunches, and also encouraged to skip lunches through management to make an early debriefing! It was so toxic I would have to take breaks and cry in order to not drive under so much stress! A really bad experience considering I’ve driven for over 4 years! The new policies they’re inflicting on drivers at the amazon hub on coliseum way is inhumane to say the least!

Pros and Cons
Steady salary
Stress, fatigue, extreme weight loss due to pressure to skip breaks, and unprofessionalism
