I liked being a part of the high-tech environment. My stay at this workplace was rather short due to family member health situation.

They don't care about their employees. I got hurt on the job an they thought I foraged my paperwork from the hodpital

I was very good at my job. I usually gave 100 percent. If I was picking and they said today we need you to pick 85 units per hour, I'd pick in excess of 125. Out of 400 associates I was constantly within in the top 10 as far as my production which created positive documentation. I always surpassed what the expectations were. They trained me to do what they called PA and run the shift. I did this for three months with great success. I wasn't being paid a PA's wages though. They changed up management and hired another associate and kicked me to the curb. Not because I didn't do the job well but because the new manager wanted to hire women. The woman they hired wasn't qualified, I was, and within a short period the new pa quit. So I ended up going back to doing what I do best. I don't like being lied to and I really didn't like the shananigans. They change management sometimes 3 or 4 times in the same month, completely disorganized. This is the short of my experience with this company.

Some people were cool and interesting to talk to. Randy was one of their best leaders to go to for help and info. Stowing was fun but the computer rating system had to many flaws that need to be updated and graded. Plus the don't push the red out of work button so you get a slow rate doesn't help when the instructions on the video says to ( company vs job site). Then being called a lier by an immature leader Charles being 40+ is bad for company moral. Why work and get disrespectful management calling you names is very unprofessional. I'm glad to be gone from this stressful disrespectful environment that's bad for ones health

I was chastised consistently on route whether I’d make it off early along with other drivers who were skipping lunches, and also encouraged to skip lunches through management to make an early debriefing! It was so toxic I would have to take breaks and cry in order to not drive under so much stress! A really bad experience considering I’ve driven for over 4 years! The new policies they’re inflicting on drivers at the amazon hub on coliseum way is inhumane to say the least!

Amazon provides opportunities to succeed and move up the ladder quite rapidly as long as the work life balance doesn’t wear you down

Very hard to be promoted working under staffing under a lot of stress when you do get promoted don’t really receive the proper training

I enjoyed every minute of it. You are not micromanaged and you are out and about in the public and the customers as well as management appreciate the job you do

Was number 1 picker in 2014, and 2015 with an average of a 249 pick rate and every path. Was an SMX coach. Was the best tote wrangler to ever with at that building. Was the number 1 rebinner(sort), number 1 single large, multi-large, multipoly, and BulkKDP packer. Top problem solver, trained all classes on front half days. Was every managers favorite that I ever had. Was a seasonal process Assistant 7 times, 2 away teams opening other Amazons with very high rates produced from my trainings. I also trained the managers while I was there. I was there for every Prime CAE1 ever had. I got looked past for almost every position I applied for. I was good with everyone.

They promise work/life balance and working there is FAR from that. This company exploits its employees and is very very cliquish. Upper HR business partners) have a “godlike” ideology of themselves. Accepting a position with Amazon will initially seem like a good idea however, once there and under the Amazon culture, you will regret it and have to deal with their true culture of division, lack of integrity / backstabbing and lack of care for their employees

I hated that place they work you like a dog but pay you like a puupy my body was beat up after work i was there best packer but treated like second class citizen

First thing in the morning and between first and 2nd break the employees gather so the operations managers can review the past shifts performance and also high light what is expected for the balance of the day. I like how the outstanding performers are recognized to their contribution. Also noted are any safety concerns and upcoming events.

I was there to long and should have left long time bacause the way they treat employees management is very shaky

A unstable disrespectful environment I stayed into it with the supervisors they very unprofessional no regard for hard technical work and this is true facts.

It was an amazing experience to work with Amazon and to be an Amazonian and it was fun and productive

I put items inside of the robots and clear out the bins. And make sure I was making my rating each night. Friendly people just gets really quiet because we’re not allowed to have any devices in the building unless it’s by your locker also gets really hot because not much AC in the building just in the cafeteria.

Never had time for my family over work unhealthy working hours no genuine support not safe kids and family had to come last

The work itself is fairly easy. However, most of the people that work there tend to be carefree about life. And it takes a toll on you. Not much recognition for the amount of work you do. You can skate by doing nothing or work your butt off and get minimal recognition if any.

Got hired after a very efficient hiring process. Fascinated by the organized system pursued the many positions available.

You gain a lot of experience but the upper management lacks empathy and team building to make the workplace cohesive

Boring Company, with shifts to die in and very long hours with barely any breaks. There is no sense of community or anything.

Amazons okay to work for. I just started amazon American canyon as a process assistant but forgot to clock out day one; it seems to give me a little bit more authority.

There are some rewards that the rewards earned by playing the workstation games such as lottery. they call the name was winner and gabe them rewards.

Working at Amazon is not for the faint hearted. Especially with all the walking you have to do on the daily. It's not a bad job. Just demanding.

Fired me over the phone never got to defend myself for what they said was the reason for me being fired. I wasn't allowed to have all the managers who said they liked my work ethic speak on my behalf.
