AMCI is a national organization of the management association, or business group and was established in 1963. It is based in Alexandria, Virginia, USA and has over 180 affiliates, 3,500 staff, and more than 2.8 million participants in its association, with members in the United States, Canada, Euro and more. AMCI provides its affiliates with accreditation in 2016. The accreditation scheme of AMCI is focused on the criteria for appropriate AMC practices approved by the American National Standards Institute. The Institute and the American Society of Organization Executives (ASAE) decided to endorse an AMC accreditation scheme administered by the Institute in May 2007 to offer better guidance’s to organizations involved in being operated by AMCs. It consists of vehicle marketing specialists and enthusiasts. Organization is structured to give positive, observable outcomes across three different divisions. AMCI LIVE is responsible for developing events and activations which seek to bring about a change in behavior and promote dialogue between the correct audience—from the user to the public.
