Amec Foster Wheeler Company Reviews and Ratings
Senior HSE Trainer
March 29, 2023
It is over 4 years, I work for Amec-Foster Wheler as a Senior HSE Trainer involved in HAOR oil refinery modernization and reconstruction project. There are many challenges related with the project implementation, but we've got several milestones achieved within last 2 years. I find my role in the project as very interesting where I can meet many professional people.
Pros and Cons
free lunch, transportation, year-end benefits, medical insurance (premium)
poor recognition / motivation / lack of communication

Some of office locations are very click-ish. Particularly the one in the southeastern part of NC. If you are in the band-of-five, you can survive. If you are not, well get your resume in order. Outsiders beware. They may appear welcoming, but if you don't drink the Kool-aid, you are doomed.
Pros and Cons
Leaving to go elsewhere
Being hired with an expectation of equality and respect.

Enjoyed my time there. Met many extremely competent people. Pleasant atmosphere. Good parking facilities.

Participated in many challenging projects.
Did not enjoy having to "clock in and clock out". Too many changes of office.

The experience was great working with the Team. The Team comprised of engineers and designers from different countries. We worked on a mixture of greenfield and brownfield projects, however, there were some management issues regarding client relationships, coordination, budgets, and resources. I felt that it could have been managed better. The overall experience was enlightening and contributed greatly to my portfolio.
Pros and Cons
Friendly office,
Lack of coordination between management and employees
