The greatest manager I ever worked with, Nick Baldinus was a very understanding person. He helped balance life between work and personal life. It was easy going to work there. No micromanaging nightmares. It is a very strong company, too. With great benefits and very decent salary.

Pros and Cons
Great benefits - Decent salary
None that you wouldn't find anywhere else.

AFI Company is getting rid of agents and over half are gone since 1995. Their goal is to sell directly to customers. Ridiculas goals and expectations and the sales managers are responsible to get rid of two agents a year. All the expenses are paid by the agents and the only supporting money is for the computer systems which the company owns. All awards are 1099 to the agent's expense account at year-end. Do not be suckered into going to work for this company. The agents have a class action lawsuit currently against the company for wrongful termination and unlawful practices.

Pros and Cons
Company annual conventions but all expenses are paid by agents.
Company is not loyal to the agents and office staff routinly is stolen

The CEO is not authentic. He speaks a great talk but promotes his own family. There are extreme layers of management which drive expenses up and also limits effectiveness.

Pros and Cons
Summerfest tickets but not worth it!
Deep routed nepotism, tree of leadership is way too large and extensive to be effective.

Up until about 2 years ago this was a great place to work. The company would regularly appreciate their employees with catered lunch/breakfast, parties, gifts, words of appreciation, catered holiday's. The last 2 years have changed drastically. I cant say I know one person happy here. I have heard the Wisconsin location is much better with the way they treat and appreciate their employees, but the company as a whole has really turned into every other call center. They believed in work/life balance. They used to praise the fact they were better than the average call center and it really felt that way. It is no longer that way. It is only about numbers now and could care less about you.

Pros and Cons
Can now work from home.
