Etter established American Military University (AMU) and kicked off something new by offering career-related, distance education for versatile military students. In 2002, AMU reorganized into the American Public University System (APUS). Today the university framework is perhaps the biggest provider of advanced online education, offering over 200 projects for students from all over the world.
