The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), founded in 1925, is the national scientific, professional, and credentialing association for 204,000 speech-language pathologists, audiologists, audiology and speech-language pathology support personnel, language, speech, and hearing scientists, and students. It is a non-profit organization, headquartered in Rockville, MD. They are offering more than 350 continuing education courses to make effective communication, a human right, accessible and achievable for all. They are dedicated to supporting and empowering speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and others through setting standards, advancing science, fostering excellence in professional practice as well as advocating for members and those they serve. Furthermore, they also offer over 900 hours of content for learning.
