The story would take too long. So, in a short. Horrible store management. No training. No workers. When they did hire a worker, they would be allowed to wear bedroom slippers, hot pink sweatpants, sneakers(dirty) and big square earrings with Lucifer sitting on a thrown with “devil” written under it. Watch Netflix at the receptionist desk. Be on FaceTime, Instagram and other video chat apps as patients were being asked their personal information, and was hired after me, doing a less productive job and paid more! I would open the store, be glued to my seat checking patients out and not have a break for 9 hours because employees were allowed to just not come in and leave in the middle of the day without valid reasoning without verbal warnings or written up. I quit, went back thinking let me give this another try and it only got worse!!! If you want to keep your sanity and can live there, glued to your seat without a break working crazy hours STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Pros and Cons
One hour break if u get one
EVERYTHING from start to finish. No training. No break. Short staffed. Crazy hours

At one point I was the only one in the store that knew how to run the appointments. No one helped me. We had remote doctors.

While enhancing my medical skills. I enjoyed working with patients, to meet their needs. While learning other areas of adminiatrative healthcare. The flexibility and growth encourages every individual while helping them to gain knowledge of Americas Best Contacts and Eyeglasses. Concluently, their is alot of growing opportunities while applying your own qualifications and skills within the company.

Pros and Cons
Flexibility is great.
Beginners salary without experience.

I worked at America's Best Contacts and Eyeglasses in Salem, Oregon. The pay is pathetic, the upper Management is unsupportive and looks down on Associates, BEWARE if they do not like you for ANY reason. The Optometrist I worked with was undeniably the most conceited, arrogant man I have ever met, he LOVED insulting fellow employees in front of customers, which was noticed by customers and always put HIM in a bad light, little did he know. Place was INSANELY busy at all times so breaks and lunches were almost always nonexistent. Management was aware how short handed the store was but did not care nor was any effort made to hire additional people. They could not care less about their customers and their products and services are VERY low quality, nor do they stand behind anything. This is strictly a for profit company who treats both their employees and their customers badly. Awful place to work and I would seriously consider going elsewhere for your eyecare needs.

Pros and Cons
None, Literally none.
The list is LONG.
