What does an Application Analyst do?

As Application Analysts, we assist in building the enterprise’s digital experience. We provide solutions such as imaging, web, and collaboration platforms. We contribute to the daily support of these solutions to solve business problems. We design workflows and custom processes to solve business problems. We gather business requirements for business problems. We document findings and provide optimal solutions. We communicate complex technical solutions. We handle everyday tasks of site maintenance, reporting, updates, and bug fixes. We monitor analytics and statistics. We ensure that initiatives are in line with business needs. We research new technologies related to digital innovation. We also contribute design recommendations to management.

Core tasks:

  • support development of policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures
  • consult with project teams and guide developers
  • ensure compatibility with existing solutions, infrastructure, and services
