We draw features in the plan and profile which comply with SRI mapping strategies. We clean and straighten the walls of a test unit and complete field forms accurately and concisely. Labeling bags and samples are part of our daily responsibilities. We perform duties associated with pedestrian surveys and hand excavation. We take detailed field notes, draw sketch maps, and record the provenience of the finds. Working as Archaeological Field Technicians, we maintain client confidentiality and tools and equipment.
