About Architect

What does an Architect do?

We, as Architects, design structures such as houses, apartment complexes, shopping malls, and office buildings. In addition to that, we also make sure that the structures we build are functional, safe, cheap, and suit all the people's needs. All of us have a strong capability of producing a solid set of documents and have excellent designs and problem-solving skills. Moreover, we can multi-task and work on many projects or tasks simultaneously with excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills. Our job is to find new and creative ways to design buildings and the technical skills to utilize CAD software. We are also responsible for visiting construction sites to check the projects' progress and make sure the contractors are building them according to the plans.

Core tasks:

  • leading and developing projects from early concepts and till the end of design development
  • providing thoughtful client service and coordinate engineer disciplines
  • demonstrating ability to produce 2D and 3D design drawings for meeting presentations
  • resolving complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions
