Terrible place to work!! Management treats people like dirt. Its not a team oriented place to work. People will stab you in the back just to get some recognition. Management lies to hourly!! Cut throat place!!

Pros and Cons
Wages are decent.
Forced overtime, management lies, you're not important, you're just another number.

Worked there for 2 years. Plenty of overtime available. But its mandatory. Rules and expectations change daily. Production work. Not jobshop. Training readily available for those who want it for career progression. Corporate rat race at its best and worst. Lied to employees about a bonus of 8%. Refused to pay at end of year. Hardhat required all shift while in air conditioned building. Excellent opportunity for intro into aerospace and forgings. Great exposure to superalloys

Pros and Cons
Tons of overtime, great retirement
Mandatory overtime. Rules change daily

I absolutely loved the work potential and the sheer size of everything. For a mechanical engineer it is a dream with huge gears and rolling mills and the cranes. I loved going in everyday and seeing everything that was going on. I loved learning something new every day. I did not enjoy management and their near sightedness. I did not receive any direction or introduction when I started. When I did find things that needed improvement - typically on the computing and data side, I was shot down immediately by longer term managers. Fellow engineers were excited to try my suggestions and typically if they told management my idea it got better reception, but still no support. Despite that, I truly did love the work. Sadly once I had just started to find my place I was laid off due to Covid slowdowns. Within a month of layoffs they were severely understaffed as business picked up.

Pros and Cons
Profit sharing
Union vs Management tensions very high
