About Area Supervisor

What does an Area Supervisor do?

As area supervisors, we oversee the day-to-day operations of our assigned business section. The nature of our work depends on the type of the business, however, the term is most often used in retail and restaurants, and refers to either a specific area of, or an entire store or restaurant location. In this case we are responsible for opening and closing the store, training and supervising associates, and maintaining a customer-friendly environment. We ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a safe and clean work area. We are also responsible for implementing business/production plans.
