Arvig started its journey in 1950 as a small telephone company in Eastern Otter Tail county, Minn. The company has now become one of the leading telecommunication companies in the country. Currently, they have 15 data centers within their network and over 10,000 fiber- route miles which enable them to provide quality service to other telecommunication companies, wireless carriers and the internet customers. In fact, they have over 54 thousand internet customers who are located in more than half the counties in Minnesota. In addition, Arvig was transformed into an ESOP company in 2002, which means over 40 percent of their company is owned by their employees. This has, in fact, consolidated their commitment to grow and dedication to serve the customers to their best, as the company employees get benefited directly from the company’s success. They are currently working relentlessly to expand their network and associate with a large number of carriers.
