If you are single and don’t want a social life or want to be valued as an employee. This is the job for you. Don’t expect quality family time, or time off because that won’t happen. Also expect your commission structure to change every 6 months. Owners care about themselves and not their employees. You can make good money but you will sacrifice your time with no gratitude.
Pros and Cons
Opportunity to make good money
Benefits are horrible. Owners don’t value their employees, Not enough time ott

Furniture Technician
New Braunfels, TX - May 21, 2022
Managers there do not know how to manage/supervise employees. Their only concern is getting product out the door and looking cool. Favoritism is a daily occurrence for certain individuals. Double standards are the norm; one employee can show up to work smelling of alcohol and hungover with zero consequences while another will be fired. Certain employees can take off whenever they feel, while others are denied time off. All of these employees mentioned are on the same playing level.
Pros and Cons
All the overtime you want
Total disarray and dysfunction

Delivery Driver
Colton, CA - December 13, 2021
There is no work/personal life balance. In delivery you will work many hours because you don’t get off until you finish, but still get lectured on working so many hours during the meetings. The company is very scattered and doesn’t really know what they want to accomplish. It’s one thing one day and another the next. Also, the only way to be promoted is to basically make other managers look bad. There is no teamwork at this company. It is every person for themselves.
Pros and Cons
Lots of hours if that’s what you want
No life outside of work and bad management

Ashley furniture was a horrible place to work. They wanted me me to be able to produce the same work as people who have been there for 30 plus years and had that many years of experience. They did not properly train me how to do the job and give me the experience that I did not have and then when they and when they found out I'm out that I could not gain that much experience in a year's time They fired me. Saying it was due to my lack of progress And ability to keep up when they did not give me the proper equipment to even try to compete
Pros and Cons
It was near home
Everyone was out for themselves and did not care if you made it or not as long as there buddies did

Draper, UT - July 27, 2021
The entire team was laid off with the exception of a few team members.
The new team was young and in experienced and was paid an hourly wage with the promise of bonuses. Well, that plan eventually failed.
Meanwhile, many great people were out of a job they loved. Greed was evidently more important than people.
Pros and Cons
Great showroom
Good people/ employees are taken advantage of.
