You’ll be part of a company that enables community and belonging by creating content that connects with fans when, how and where they want it.The Job The position will be focused on maintaining accurate inventory of IT and Broadcast hardware and software licenses, coordinating license maintenance agreement renewals, conducting internal software license reviews, tracking hardware assets and creating metrics-based reports for management review.The Asset Management Analyst position is a member of the Technology Asset Management team supported by an Asset Management Manager. This highly customer-oriented position supports the lifecycle of WarnerMedia’s technology software and hardware assets. It has 3 primary areas of responsibility for WarnerMedia: (1) Software License Asset Receiving, Tracking, and Compliance (2) Backup Hardware Asset Receiving and Tracking and (3) Reclaim of Hardware Assets. This position may require guidance from Asset Management Manager with seniority when processing desktop, broadcast and production specific assets. The DailySoftware Asset Management: Responsible for the audit, compliance, receiving and tracking of software licenses through procurement and software discovery tools. Showcase knowledge of enterprise software license agreements (including perpetual, subscription and cloud models), supplier licensing terms and conditions, terminology and policies with suppliers such as Microsoft, Adobe, VMware, etc.Establish SAM system operations, enhancements, data integrity, identifying savings and resolving data anomalies and inconsistencies. Develop trusted relationships with relevant businesses, including legal, procurement, finance, tax, infrastructure, engineers, architecture, project management, development, data or process owners, IT operations, business users, vendors/resellers, etc. Create and track work requests to validate software licenses, resolve remote scanning issues, and gaining service account access permissions.Backup Services for Hardware Asset Reception and Tracking: Manage the backup responsibilities such as coordinating inbound delivery logistics, order reconciliation, asset tagging, asset storage, asset distribution, and lifecycle asset tracking for all of Global Technology Operations. This includes but not limited to IT hardware, broadcast production hardware, software, mobile devices, and technology installation services. Assist in routine physical inventory validation audits.Ensure all assets are appropriately and accurately recorded in the asset management system and work with Finance and Operations to ensure the accuracy of the data in WarnerMedia’s asset management and procurement system. Reclaim of Hardware Assets: Record the movement of assets assigned to employees or broadcast/server locations, accounting for any upgrades or replacements due to break-fix or new purchases. Update the Inventory system data base to maintain the accuracy of the inventory records.Work with broadcast/production/network and data center asset owners to validate asset data discrepancies and/or validate for retirement status.Reclaim of end user hardware because of terminations back to Asset Management department.Assist in the disposing of all broadcast/network and IT assets. This includes working with the disposal vendor to ensure proper disposal processes are adhered to and maximum value is obtained from retired assets.Verify adherence to federal and local technology disposal legislation in addition to established WarnerMedia policies. The Essentials3-5 years of IT Asset Management experience (Hardware & Software) 3-5 years of direct interaction with customers, vendors, procurement services, and logistics providers. Direct knowledge of IT asset disposal requirements and proceduresProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications Excel and Outlook.Additional Skills1+ years’ experience with SAP Ariba and ServiceNow software systems preferredHands on experience with IT, broadcast, and entertainment media systems, hardware & software preferred.
