About Assistant Golf Professional

What does an Assistant Golf Professional do?

As Assistant Golf Professionals, we help manage the golf course through interaction with both staff and golf members each day. It is our role as Assistant golf professionals to communicate clearly and act accordingly as professionals at all times. We are responsible for opening and closing the golf operation and managing other stuff. We take part in the training of the golfers, hiring of staff and other members, and evaluation of the outside golf staff as directed by the head golf professionals. It is also our role to organize special events and schedule meetings when requested by the authorities or senior Assistant.

Core tasks:

  • manage the golf course under the direction of the senior staff
  • organize meetings
  • opening and closing of the golf operations daily
  • communicating with the golf members on how to carry themselves
