What does an Associate do?

As Associates, we work at the intersection of business, finance, public policy, or media. We develop research, write, and media skills at a prestigious firm with high-profile clients. Working with an asset management company, we provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for a variety of Asset Management clients. We work as part of a multidisciplinary team. We help to provide industry knowledge and experience. We also build and manage client relationships. We manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects.

Core tasks:

  • advise clients and deliver tax service and advice
  • participate in business and market activities of the firm
  • support client teams with public affairs, media, and financial research and analysis
  • monitor and analyze broadcast, print, and online media coverage
  • proofread and package client materials
  • perform basic administrative duties
  • answer phones, make copies
  • undertake writing and media outreach assignments as client demands need
