MRM//McCann is seeking an Associate Project Manager. We are looking for a candidate who possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, who is eager to learn about and enhance their abilities in the area of Project Management.
This Associate Project Manager position will report to the Associate Director, Program Management but will work closest and often take direction from Project Managers. This position is located in our Birmingham offices.
In this role, s/he will concentrate on the project management tasks associated with a variety of channels: site, email, OLA, to gain multi-channel experience. The APM requires a combination of project management skills in the build phase and practical knowledge of quality assurance methods. The successful APM will ensure a collaborative environment to support successful working relationships within the agency. This role requires the ability to work well both independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities: Facilitate and/or manage projects with cross-functional teams including: Creative, Technology, QA, Production, and Performance & Analytics.Collaborate effectively with internal cross-functional team members, agency partners and vendors.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously. These could be with multiple clients and across multiple lanes of business.
Facilitate effective meetings with senior personnel, team members, and vendors providing accurate information, concise deliverables and clear expectations.
Develop/manage project status reports, schedules/project plans and resource scope documents.
Leverage strong verbal and written communication skills to begin acting as a liaison between the client partners, agency, and team.
Manage JIRA tickets and collaborative workspaces (Egnyte).
Review project briefs, status reports, maintain issue lists; provide formal escalation of risk and issues and other written communication as required day-to-day and for the successful delivery of production projects.

Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant experience desired.
6 months to 2 years of experience in project management or relevant professional field.
Experience with MS Office including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Awareness of project plan software (i.e. Smartsheet) is preferred.
Web-based workflow and/or issue tracking experience (e.g. JIRA) is preferred.
Familiarity with the web and related technologies is preferred.
