Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) is located in Washington, DC. The Association organization is dedicated to promoting the life and public standing of liberal education. The members strive to enhance the quality of undergraduate programs as their service to democracy. They endlessly make efforts for expanding the access to advantages of liberal education to all students alike. The organization was founded in 1915 as a small association. Today, it has expanded its access and has over 1200 members including public and private colleges, community colleges, research and other comprehensive universities.
