Aureus Medical Group

I started traveling with Aureus Medical Group in 2011 and they always treated me well. I was always paid on time and my benefits were better than what i have working full-time. I had the best recruiter and managers. They always had my next contract ready for me when i finished a contract. They got me contracts wherever i wanted to go. They are a great company to work for.

The first couple assignment s were good. I had completed several assignments through them that went very well. They new my work ethic and quality of work were very acceptable. I wanted to take a brief hiatus from travel to spend a few weeks at home. They called me at the last minute to fill in at a lab that suddenly lost their tech and it was about a two hour drive from my home. Kept calling me and finally I agreed for two weeks only. Did the work with 2 hours hands on training and kept leaving messegesto my immediate supervisor asking to meet with me to discuss some questions I had. Never met with her ever........... Face to face, letting Aureus know what my issues were. I only got rapid fire texts from h er in the evening. I forwarded all to Aureus, Middle of 2nd week I received another very long and detailed text asking me why i had left "shit" on one of pt. Beds after i stripped sheets off upon cleaning after study was completed. I was outraged as I would never do thst.

So i been working for Aureus for 7 yrs. Before Aureus was bought by Medical Solutions they were much better company. Aureus use to provide top pay and great insurance. I started to notice Aureus pay packages for assignment were starting to become lowest out of all travel companies. I stayed because i was loyal. I got job offer closer to home, paid $1000 more week. I was asked extend and current location. So the hospital was will match my offer for 15 wk extension. Aureus decided they needed $300 of my rate increase. Aureus was already charging hosp $4000 wk. Paying me $1900 gross. Now they wanted $4300. Tried lying to me. So i left and much happier. Do not waste your talent at Aureus.

I took my 1st travel position with Aureus in 2016 and off to Hawaii I went! They have always been a great company to work for. I've had nothing but a positive experience since I've started!

I had a great experience meeting and doing different things.Its great to learn from another facility.I didn't enjoy the cold weather though.
