About Automation Technician

What does an Automation Technician do?

As Automation Technicians, we maintain and upgrade the P&ID, pneumatic/ electrical schematic diagrams as well as overall network layouts. We also perform random sampling check-ups of equipment and instruments while carrying out a quarterly inspection program to control the production line’s system panels and equipment. We follow the company’s standard protocol to document each operating procedure and storing the list of Automation records in a shared folder. We are also responsible for initiating preventive maintenance or PM to each piece of equipment related to automation according to the preplanned schedule.

Core tasks:

  • keep all automation spare parts clean and functioning
  • respond to urgent matters related to the automation control system
  • maintain and fix all bin optimization tools
