About Automotive Parts Advisor

What does an Automotive Parts Advisor do?

We, the automotive parts advisors, are responsible for helping all mechanics and clients in purchasing parts and supplies of automobiles. We deal with customer relations, departmental relations, ordering of parts, record management, and all such duties. Our job is to provide advice to our clients regarding vehicles and their components. We also keep track of stock in our workplace. Our responsibilities are to perform research on the auto parts manufacturing industries to determine which parts are well-matched with which vehicles.

Core tasks:

  • providing quotations for customers and advising them.
  • selling different parts of vehicles to customers,
  • receiving and unpacking new stock deliveries. *managing parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed correctly.
